For more than a decade, Copeland has been developing compression technologies and related components to support complete CO2 system solutions. Our collective commitments to engineering innovation and industry stewardship have helped to advance CO2 refrigeration technologies and accelerate their global adoption. Combining compression technology, advanced facility management and CO2 system controls, VFDs, leak detection, CO2 system components and expert services, we deliver seamless system integration that enables maximum system reliability, efficiency and simplicity.
Copeland ZO subcritical CO2 scroll compressors are designed to exploit the characteristics of CO2 refrigeration systems. The efficiency, reliability and liquid handling advantages of Copeland scroll technologies make it ideal for these applications. Features of the lineup include:
Copeland 4MTLS supercritical CO2 semi-hermetic compressors with four-cylinders are the ideal solution for R-744 supercritical booster systems. The compressor line is characterized by a design operating pressure of 1740 psig (120 bar). All compressors are equipped with Copeland compressor electronics technology, offering faster system troubleshooting & protection.
The Copeland 4MSLS subcritical CO2 semi-hermetic compressor product line can withstand higher stand-still pressures. The product line include three displacements from 407 to 765 CFH with onboard diagnostics, offering faster system troubleshooting and protection from problems before they occur.
The capacity range of the 4MSLS product line ranges from 33 to 179 MBH at -25 degrees F evaporating, 20 degrees F saturated discharge temperature at 60 Hz. The Copeland subcritical CO2 semi-hermetic compressor line can be applied with a variable speed drive to allow for precise load matching and smooth system operation, with drive inputs from 25 to 70 Hz.
