Copeland’s Jennifer Butsch Recognized for Contributions to Industry at Women in HVACR Conference

Butsch acknowledged with ACHR NEWS Top Women in HVAC honor for her commitments to advancing education and regulatory affairs in the industry

ST. LOUIS (November 28, 2023) – Copeland, a global provider of sustainable climate solutions, announced Jennifer Butsch, regulatory affairs director at Copeland, was honored as one of the Top Women in HVAC, as published by The ACHR NEWS, at the Women in HVACR Annual Conference in Jacksonville, Florida.

Jennifer Butsch has been involved in regulatory affairs across multiple industries for more than 20 years. In her current role, she is responsible for managing activities related to policies, regulations, codes and standards as they relate to the air conditioning, heating and refrigeration market. She regularly contributes content to a number of leading industry publications and podcasts that positions her as a trusted thought leader.

In addition to her contributions to Women in HVACR, Jennifer actively participates in several other industry organizations, including AHRI and ASHRAE. She is involved in several AHRI committees, such as the AHRI State Government Affairs Committee, where she serves as the Vice Chair, the Building Code Committee, and the Government Relations Group.

As an industry champion, Jennifer has met with legislators in both Washington D.C. and New York to advocate for issues important to the HVACR industry. She’s also driven the industry conversation forward by presenting at several recent trade shows and other industry events, including the AHR Expo on “The Latest on Refrigerant Rulemaking and Safety Standards.”

Jennifer earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Wright State University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.
