Copeland Solutions Recognized in 2023 Dealer Design Awards

Two Copeland products receive gold awards in this year’s Dealer Design Awards.

ST. LOUIS (July 27, 2023) – Copeland, a global provider of sustainable climate solutions, announced that two of its products, the White-Rodgers Connect mobile app and the White-Rodgers universal single stage HSI integrated furnace control, were honored with gold awards by the 2023 Dealer Design Awards program sponsored by The Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration (ACHR) News Magazine. This recognition comes as the Copeland brand transitions into a standalone company to advance the next generation of climate technologies.

The White-Rodgers Connect app uses Near Field Communication (NFC) to connect a mobile device to a compatible White-Rodgers control. This innovative technology changes the way technicians configure and diagnose in the field and provides a platform for quicker and more accurate service calls. White-Rodgers Connect is pre-loaded with OEM default settings for simple configuration. The app takes the guesswork out of diagnostics and offers troubleshooting tips to speed up diagnosis and get technicians to the next job quickly.

“This product is truly a breakthrough for enabling broader use of universal controls,” said Nayan Mishra, senior product manager, Comfort Control for Copeland. “The simplicity of the app will help increase adoption of universal controls which provide contractors decreased inventory while still being able to complete the job in one truck roll.”

The White-Rodgers universal HSI integrated furnace control can be configured for either PSC or ECMx blower motors and replaces over 550 part numbers allowing contractors to carry fewer parts. This product works with the White-Rodgers Connect app and provides features that simplify installation, making configuration and diagnostics quick and simple through a mobile device.

“A big complaint with using universal controls is the complex installation process, and with operating costs on the rise, it’s more important than ever to reduce truck rolls,” said John Bushur, senior product manager, Comfort Control for Copeland. “This integrated furnace control does exactly that by simplifying the installation process which requires no additional harnesses, in tandem with our White-Rodgers Connect app, which uses NFC and allows contractors to quickly configure the control without power, prior to install.”

Both the White-Rodgers Connect app and White-Rodgers universal single stage HSI integrated furnace control embody Copeland’s commitment to providing both customers and end users with trusted products, expertise, inventiveness, and innovation.

Now in its 20th year, the Dealer Design Awards program recognizes exceptional manufacturing of HVACR technology as well as product designs that benefit HVACR contractors.
