Business Ethics

Copeland and its affiliates and subsidiaries are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards when working with customers, suppliers, governments, the public, and each other. All Copeland employees adhere to these standards and contribute to a culture of transparency, fairness and accountability within the organization.

The Copeland Ethics and Compliance Program has the following primary guidance documents: 

  • Employee Code of Conduct handbook, which outlines the responsibilities of all employees.
  • Supplier Code of Conduct, which address the responsibilities for all suppliers.
  • Code of Ethics for Business Partners, which addresses expectations for all our vendors, suppliers and customers regarding ethical and business standards.
  • Copeland statement on the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act and United Kingdom Modern Slavery Act of 2015. Outlines efforts to address slavery and human trafficking in supply chain.
  • Copeland Canada Modern Slavery Report This report describes the continued efforts being taken to enhance the transparency in our supply chains by outlining the steps taken during the 2023 financial year to prevent and reduce the risk that forced labour or child labour ("Modern Slavery") is used at any step of the production of goods in Canada or elsewhere, or of goods imported into Canada.
  • Copeland Conflict Minerals Statement -This statement reflects our dedication to corporate social responsibility and underscores our belief that responsible business is not only good for our company but also for the world we share.

 

Global Ethics Hotline

The ethics hotline is accessible globally by web, mobile or phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  Copeland employees, former employees, contractors, customer, vendors and external parties can contact the ethics hotline anonymously, and all calls are confidential.
